About Me
Lindsey Jason is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Connecticut. She works with adolescents and adults, in individual and group settings. Lindsey provides an array of services including individual and family sessions. She specializes in woman’s issues, specifically eating disorders, perinatal and postpartum wellness, as well as life transitions. Lindsey has been in private practice since 2016. As life has changed since the beginning of the pandemic, Lindsey has altered her services to meet the needs of her clients. At this time she is offering Telehealth services to all clients in Connecticut.
Lindsey Jason is a graduate of the University of Connecticut’s School of Social Work and has many years of experience in several different settings. Her clinical experience began with an in-home program aimed to teach clients the skills needed to maintain living independently. From there she went on to work in the outpatient setting for a large mental health organization in the state of Connecticut. She was a clinician in two separate intensive in-home programs prior to her experience as a school social worker. Her experience in various settings have provided her a array of skills that aid in her work with clients. Lindsey is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are eating disorders and body image issues, perinatal and postpartum wellness, life transitions, depression, and anxiety.
Lindsey is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and obtain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
